We do require parents to arrange to see the principal before the child comes to school.
In the case of a new entrant this should occur at least one month prior to the child’s fifth birthday so we can organise pre enrollment visits.
The school is a Lockwood construction and we have plenty of space for “hands on” learning and to meet the physical needs of our students. There are wide open spaces for our children to play in. We have many “add ons” for learning in different contexts. Some of these are: a kiln; art room; technology area; vege gardens; shade house and a well resourced library.
The school is very well resourced and ICT is an integral part of learning at Kaitoke School. Every child is treated as an important individual and learning programmes are child centered. Our students are engaged in their learning and we have high expectations for all.
